This project gives you the foundation to many of the popular ball rolling stay on course type games. I have added two scripts that pre-configure the player’s movement and obstacle reactions and made it clear enough to edit to suit your game design needs.You may find other uses for the code throughout your game design career!
The player is already programmed to:
-Move left and right with the arrow keys on the keyboard.
-Move forward automatically at a constant rate to go AT the terrain and obstacles.
– I locked the player’s rotation in the x,y, and z in the inspector. == to keep the camera steady and since it is a solid ball there is really no need for it to be rotating.
– I also froze the player’s Z position in the inspector so the player cannot go backwards.
If the players hits:
-An obstacle it will reset the current level
-Hits the floor the current level will reset.
-Hitting the winBlock at the end of the level will advance the player to the next level!
